Lifestyle Homes President and second-generation homebuilder, Mike Arnett, is a recognized and trusted leader in the custom home building industry. As a Certified Master Builder, Mike combines his philosophy of quality craftsmanship with building sciences and proven building techniques to construct high performance, custom homes that provide structural integrity, healthy indoor air quality, and energy efficiency to their homeowners.
Mike started out as a carpenter and construction supervisor for his father’s company, Bear Construction. In 1991 he achieved his dream of founding Lifestyle Homes and incorporated in 1994. He has since built a team of truly talented craftsmen who meet his strict and high standards, and a reputation as a trusted Master Builder of quality custom homes.
While his personal and professional roots lie primarily in the Oregon construction and custom home building industry, Mike attributes Lifestyle Homes’ “Responsive Homebuilding” philosophy success to his early days as an account manager for a Chicago advertising agency. There he developed and honed the communication processes used today at Lifestyle Homes. Clients rave that they always know exactly where their projects stand and that Mike is a master at managing expectations and staying on budget and on schedule.
In the community, Mike is a recognized leader at the local, state, and national homebuilding association levels, working to raise home building standards, protect the industry’s viability, and promote its charitable causes. He also promotes builder education programs and state legislation that helps deliver higher quality contractors and housing for consumers.
